Stick Fight: The Game is a compelling 2D game that pits you against others.
Stick Fight: The Game is built on a simple premise: four stick men enter an arena and only one stick man leaves. This download is a trial version of a game that requires installation and supports all versions of Windows from Windows 7 to Windows 10.
This is a multiplayer game, and a common gripe about Stick Fight is that there is no single-player mode through which to learn the game or just to play during those times when you do not want to be social. That said, this is an exceptional multiplayer implementation.
You can play online by inviting your friends or being invited by them. You can also play online by being matchmade with random players. Local multiplayer is supported as well as and not just via land. It features an excellent split-screen implementation that will divide the screen real estate as needed to accommodate two, three or four players. You can even play split screen locally and go online to fill your game with a third and/or fourth player.
Stick Fight: The Game employs a physics-based combat system. The developer calls it the Totally Accurate Battle Simulator because—well, it is not accurate at all. But it is consistent, and this is important because as you play more you will master the environment. Therefore, there very much is a skill component for those who want more than just a few sessions of fun.
The game features 80 unique levels. This adds a lot of gameplay variety since you will rarely see the same level twice in a session. These levels have themes such as outer space or desert or hell, and although the graphics are minimalistic, it does a great job of getting that theme across.
The goal is to be the last stick man standing. You have to do that by any means necessary. Each level has its own hazards. Sometimes you will take yourself out via these hazards by making a mistake. It also possible to knock people into hazards, but combat is not limited to just fisticuffs. You can discover a broad range of weapons, including powerful guns that can knock other players out fast.
